Harnas Wildlife Foundation

The Harnas Wildlife Foundation is a prominent wildlife sanctuary and guest farm located near Gobabis, Namibia, approximately 300 km east of Windhoek. It is now under the management of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation.Core Mission & Operations
  • Rescue & Rehabilitation: Harnas focuses on caring for orphaned, injured, and conflict-prone animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and caracals.
  • The Lifeline Project: A 10,000-hectare area designed for "soft release," allowing rehabilitated animals to hunt and live naturally while remaining protected from poachers and farmers.
  • San Community Support: The foundation provides employment, medical care at the Lifeline Clinic, and educational support for the ancient San people who have lived on the property for decades.
Guest & Volunteer Experiences
