Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort Overview

Located 7,000 ft above sea level on Eburru Range, this 18-hole golf course has one of the longest holes in Kenya with par 5 - 17th signature at 654 yards. There are 80 private homes throughout the property, some of which are rented as guest houses. Food is taken very seriously at the resort. Freshly picked ingredients from the local market as well as their own organic gardens are used to prepare delicious palettes with utmost culinary value and a wonderful dining experience. There are three restaurants available: Sagitta, Gemini and Cepheus. Guests also have access to well equipped smart rooms for conducting meetings and conferences.

Rustic meets modern in our spacious Lodge Rooms, each with a private balcony overlooking a spectacular slice of the Great Rift Valley. Large four-poster beds, hand-made wooden furniture and modern en-suite bathrooms make for an ultra-comfortable stay. Some Lodge Rooms have interconnecting doors, ideal for families and groups.

For simple and sophisticated elegance, Longonot Villas are just the ticket. Each duplex villa has three floors: A deluxe suite with a lounge and kitchenette/dining room on the upper-level and a gallery en suite bedroom; two spacious en suite Standard Rooms on the lower level, opening up to a private garden.
Lodge Rooms- These rustic rooms with a mix of modern amenities feature clean & comfortable four poster beds and en-suite bathrooms. Interconnecting rooms for big groups of friends and families are also available.

Longonot Villas- Duplex villas have three floors; two standard rooms opening up to a beautiful garden on the ground floor, a deluxe suite with a dining area/kitchen on the upper floor plus a gallery bedroom.

Aberdare Villas- These villas offer a garden view or a cliff top view overlooking Aberdare forests and mountains. They feature clean & comfortable beds with en-suite bathrooms, seating area, work desk and a private balcony.

Chalets- These feature clean & comfortable bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with an old rustic charm. Most gardens have a grill for a fun filled evening of barbecue and light beer.

Views

The course offers amazing views of Mt Longonot, Aberdare mountains, Lake Naivasha and Kinangop Range.

You might find wild animals such as impalas and zebras on the grounds.

Surrounding wilderness level

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
